User Friendly
TMS Collections offers a sleek and adaptable user interface. Its intuitive design reduces the learning curve for new users, so training is a breeze. The new user specific dashboard can be tailored to job functions, and easily provides quick access to key information and notifications. TMS Collections is completely multilingual and supports 24 languages.
Powerful Reporting
TMS Collections includes the dynamic reporting features of Crystal Reports and SQL Server Reports, plus the tools to create Dataviews and Listviews. Reports can be security-controlled to allow role-based access.
Browser Based
TMS Collections operates in a browser, so the IT department doesn’t need to install it on individual workstation, resulting in significant time savings when upgrading or activating users. TMS Collections is certified to work on the Windows platform in a Google Chrome browser and on the Mac platform in a Safari browser. TMS Collections can also be used on iPad and Surface tablets.
Intuitive Search
TMS Collections utilizes powerful cross-database searching (Google-like search) combined with configurable filters to provide faster access to record sets. The field specific search tool allows you to easily build queries and provides an enhanced set of useful search operators, such as ‘In the last 7 days’. Query filters are definable and sharable, and common search results can be displayed on your dashboard for quick access.
Configurable by Design
All data entry views are configurable and available in every module. New fields are easy to create, and text fields support rich text formatting. Dashboards are configurable at group and user levels, allowing individual users to have more control over what they see and how they work. TMS Collections can easily be set up for different collecting disciplines, including Archives, by customizing the Navigation tree. The Navigation tree provides a hierarchical overview of your data and is available in every module, allowing you to see all linked Exhibition records directly from an Object record, or a Series, Sub-Series, Folders or Items in Archival records, for example.”
Digital Asset Friendly
Your digital assets are integral to the stewardship of your collection. TMS Collections helps users organize and collect media files alongside their work, keeping you on task and organized. TMS Collections makes it easy to upload and download media files using drag and drop functionality. Images can be annotated and compared. Additional thumbnail sizes are available and pre-cached for fast load times.
