Description
This intensive three-day course introduces new users to the basic functionality of TMS 2010. The focus is on cataloguing objects, inputting crucial information pertaining to the objects, tracking exhibition, loan, and shipping activities for objects in your collection (or for loan objects), navigating through modules, searching on records/data, and generating reports. This is a hands-on class; participants are provided with their own fully configured workstation to use during the class sessions.
Audience
This course is appropriate for all TMS users: Registrars, Curators, Educators, Archivists, support staff, and all who use TMS on a regular basis, or who rely on TMS to access or input data, or report on collection information.
Prerequisites
This course assumes that the student has little or no familiarity with TMS; however, it also benefits more experienced users who have never received formal TMS training and wish to expand their use of TMS or learn additional functionality.

Description This two-day beginner/intermediate level course covers the core functionality of Crystal Reports XI and its use as a reporting tool in conjunction with TMS 2010. Students will learn to use the TMS data structure as a basis for designing custom reports for objects, exhibitions, loans, and constituents data.
Audience
This course is typically attended by staff members who are responsible for creating custom reports for TMS users, or for advanced users who wish to design their own custom reports.
Prerequisites
This course assumes that the student is already familiar with basic TMS functionality, either through daily use of TMS or by having completed the TMS training course at Gallery Systems.

This intensive, one-day course covers the new features of TMS 2010 with a focus on Objects, Exhibitions, Loans, and Shipping. The training is conducted online; you can connect remotely to the training presentation and follow along in your own TMS database (or connect to Gallery Systems' TMS 2010 training database). Even if you have not yet upgraded to TMS 2010, attending this class will better prepare you for the upgrade project. We have specially priced this class to make it available to a larger number of TMS users.
Audience
This course is appropriate for experienced TMS users. If you are a new TMS user, it is recommended that you first attend one of our three-day Core TMS Application Trainings. For more information, contact training@gallerysystems.com.
