Your Solution’s Evolution

Gallery Systems has been transitioning to a web-based platform to provide our clients with modern, state-of-the-art technology to address current and future collections management needs. Web-based software provides a wide range of benefits, including use with Mac and Windows computers, as well as tablets, and access to your data from anywhere with no need to install applications on desktop computers.

Transition to a Web-based Platform

The TMS Suite web platform has been in development for several years, with products in continuous use at institutions since 2014.

TMS Collections was first released in 2018, and included modules for Objects, Constituents, Media, Exhibitions, Loans, Bibliography, and Sites. The next version of TMS Collections was released in March 2020 and added modules for Events, Shipping, and Insurance.

Conservation Studio, Media Studio, eMuseum, and Audit Manager work with TMS Collections and can be added at any time. Gallery Systems anticipates a long transition period during which both EmbARK and TMS Collections will be supported in parallel.

EmbARK Roadmap

Upgrading to TMS Collections is optional and should be done at the right time for your institution. Gallery Systems will continue to enhance and support EmbARK and Web Kiosk long into the future. We are committed to protecting your investment and providing you with the best product for your needs.

EmbARK and Web Kiosk version 11 were released in September 2021. New releases for EmbARK will continue to follow a 4-6 month cycle. Future releases will consist of enhancements, bug fixes, and maintaining compatibility with new versions of Windows and macOS.
