Museums as media companies? It may seem like a bit of a stretch, but as museums reposition themselves for our new digital age they are becoming more than physical places to visit. Like never before, museums are throwing open their digital doors to a wider audience and giving virtual visitors a behind-the-scenes look at their work and the stories surrounding the objects in their collections.
